At re:Invent 2020, AWS launched Proton, a managed deployment service for container and serverless applications. The vision of Proton is cloud platform teams can use Proton to connect and coordinate all the different tools needed for infrastructure provisioning, code deployments, monitoring, and updates. And, DevOps teams leverage these blueprints to deploy their applications. In this deep dive talk, we will discuss key technical ideas behind Proton, the current feature set, and the roadmap as applicable to DevOps & Cloud Ops teams.
Speaker Bio: Vamsi Chemitiganti works at AWS as a Principal in their Container Services Organization. Over the course of his career, he has been focused on open source as a way of driving transformation across financial services, telecom, and other industry verticals.
